On the conduct of citizens

A citizen of the Standard does not announce themselves. They are recognized by the room going still around them.

It has come to our attention that certain enlisted citizens have begun identifying one another in public spaces. This is permitted, but discouraged. The Standard is not a uniform; it is a posture.

When two carriers of the Standard meet, the correct greeting is a single nod. Words are unnecessary. The plate, kept on the person, is sufficient introduction.

Conduct yourselves as though the camera has already left. Because, in the end, it always has.
